Driving the Future: TESDA Explores EV Training Partnershi
Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Secretary Jose Francisco “Kiko” Benitez recently
met with representatives from e-Future and Saion to discuss a proposed collaboration on electric vehicle (EV) technician
and driver training. As part of the initial discussions, TESDA officials are also scheduled to visit the E-Future Depot toinspect
the facility together with technical experts.
This initiative could mark the beginning of a promising partnership between E-Future Motors Philippines and TESDA.
The collaboration aims to support the country’s transition toward cleaner and more sustainable transportation by developing
specialized EV training programs for technicians and drivers.
The proposal also includes the possible donation of an e-Jeepney unit or EV training facilities to TESDA to support hands-on
learning and provide trainees with practical experience in electric vehicle technology.
